Child Genius Rajgauri Pawar
Rajgauri Parwar may only be 12 years old, but she has made history by scoring two points higher than the most famous geniuses Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking in the Mensa IQ Test. She has been invited to join the exclusive Mensa club.
She scored 162 in a Mensa IQ Test which is the highest possible IQ for someone under the age of 18 years. This makes her among the one percent of those who sit in the Mensa test and achieve the maximum mark. To be labelled a genius, candidates have to score above 140. There are only 20,000 people to achieve the score worldwide according to Mensa.
Reported in various press reports. Rajgauri said: “I was a little nervous before the test but it was fine and I’m really pleased to have done so well.”
Her father Dr Surajkumar Pawar added, “This wouldn’t have been possible without the efforts of her teachers and the support which my daughter enjoys every day at school”.
Rajgauri is a pupil at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls in Cheshire, which also expressed pride in her achievement.
“Everybody is delighted. She is a very well-liked student and we all expect great things from her,” said Andrew Barry, her maths teacher.
