We were impressed with the appointment of Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. Now Google has appointed Sundar Pichai, aged 43 as the new CEO of Google. People of Indian origin are breaking the glass ceiling in Silicon Valley. They are the rising stars reaching the upper echelons of technology innovation. It now means that two of the five biggest technology companies in the world are run by Indians.
Satya Nadella and Sundar Puihai are now taking on the Indian baton, joining the familiar names of Indira Nooyi who is the chair and CEO of Pepsico and Ajaypal Singh Banga of MasterCard.That’s not all, there are many other people of Indian origin waiting in the wings.
